IMPORTANT NOTICE
This is a post I never imagined I would write.
For over 17 years, Dylan's Ice Cream has been more than just a business; it has been a profound part of my life. The customer relationships we’ve built, the businesses we’ve partnered with, and the incredible local community we've been part of are what has defined Dylan’s.
However, the last couple of years have presented significant challenges. Covid and the subsequent shifts in the market, the endless price increases of our raw materials and the ongoing lasting impact of economic uncertainty have created hurdles that even the most resilient businesses have struggled to overcome. For a specialist, seasonable business like Dylans, the operating environment, has simply became unsustainable.
It is therefore with a heavy heart that I share the news that we will closing our doors for the time being and I shall be stepping away from the ice cream business to contemplate our future.
While this is incredibly disappointing, I am also immensely proud. Proud of what we achieved and the strong community relationships we’ve built over the last 11 years in Haslemere.
To all our customers, suppliers, colleagues, and friends: thank you for supporting Dylan's. It’s been an incredible journey.
Hoping to re-emerge soon and see you all again.
